#TBT [ThrowBackThursday] week 4 of 2015, Singapore rooftop bars and a cigar lounge. I just love to be a few days in Singapore each year. With it’s sweeping skyline, great atmosphere, fresh cocktails and food from every corner of the world. Exploring China town, little India and Arab street you will find a world mix of cultures in Singapore. Non stop 24 hour nightlife makes you never go to sleep! I already look forward to my next visit in two months time to party again with great friends. For the photos below, they are just made with a (old) phone as I not carry expensive equipment in nightlife 🙂 Tnx for understanding.
Ku Dé Ta is probably the most famous rooftop bar in Singapore as it’s located on top of the Marina Bay sands hotel. With its swimming pool, restaurant (note the minimum spend!), and bar and club it’s for entertainment probably the best in town. From Ku Dé Ta you can see the 1-Altitude bar which is actually the highest roof top bar in the world at 282 meters. For views of Singapore this is a better place to be. Both rooftop bars you should visit when you are in Singapore. They look at each other as if they are in love. Just go to both; I had many great evenings on both!
Another place I love to stop by every year is in China town and called the Olde Cuban. It’s located above a Chinese restaurant in China town and gives a great view over China town from the balconies. They have a real cigar lounge decor and a variety of top wines, whiskey and cognacs. Do not miss out this great spot in China town!
With the above places you will be able to spend several nights but a few other spots I have liked in the past are:
Avalon: a club located in a crystal pavilion on the waters around marina bay sands
Chijmes: lots of restaurants and great club into early hours
Raffles bar: famous for its Singapore slings!
Once again, a few days a year in Singapore is great!
