Photo of the week 10, 2015
Walking the most dangerous HuaShan plank walk in the rain! Yes, it helps that it was cloudy so you cannot see the thousands of feet down the cliff, but the plank, carved stairs were slippery! The plank is just a foot wide and it’s people going in both directions, you have to pass. At the end there is a plateau with a small temple; you do have to go the same way back! A lifetime experience you just have to do. I’m happy I did it with my son (10 years) together. Good thing that since 2005 they provide a harness to secure yourself but before that: no protection. Did you do the walk without protection? Leave a comment!
