Most people might think Taiwan is all about high-tech and its electronics industries. That might be true for the west coast, but central Taiwan is mountainous, and the east coast is all about nature too. This Taiwan travel guide will take you around the island!
As said the west coast including Taipei, but also Taichung and Kaohsiung do have a lot of high-tech industry. They are not boring though as these cities are vibrant with great places to go out for the night, have temples, museums and other places of interest. Tainan is also on the west coast which history dates to the early 17th century. These places on the west coast are covered in this Taiwan travel guide. Central Taiwan is mountainous with beautiful hiking trails, lakes, gorges, and dense forests. It’s a huge contrast with the west coast. This continues to the east coast where Taitung and Hualien are the largest, yet small, cities. The east coast is all about nature. You’ll find all these places in this Taiwan travel guide too.
Taiwan is a great place for a road trip. It’s not huge and has a lot of variety including large cities, mountains, coastal areas and beaches, forests, and cultural places. These include forts, museums, and temples. Add delicious food and friendly people in the mix and you’ll have a great time!
