Bolivia is a landlocked country in South America with a huge diversity in geology and culture. It has tropical lowlands with almost inaccessible jungle in the north east. The high Andes is home to the world’s largest salt flat in the world and Lake Titicaca. Home to Sucre, a beautiful colonial town but also Cerro Rico which is the silver mine that made the country rich. You can spot rare wildlife like jaguars, tapirs and pumas or go splurge on good food as everything is cheap. The country is remote and therefore best visited on a longer trip of at least 10 days or more. This Bolivia Travel Guide will cover all these unique places.
Make sure to check out my 10 days in Bolivia itinerary to the Altiplano. Enjoy with me this beautiful country!
