The W Hotel Bangkok is a contemporary, design-led lifestyle hotel in the heart of Bangkok’s bustling commercial district. During my recent trip in Bangkok I had the opportunity to stay at the W Hotel Bangkok which I do not regret. The stay was full of Wow moments from entering, the room, the restaurants to the stylized pool. Did you know you can even make your own cocktail in the room? A luxury lifestyle hotel everyone should stay at when in Bangkok.
W Hotel Bangkok
The design of W Hotel Bangkok embodies the capital’s fusion of past and present. It combines past and present into something new. The old mansion next to the hotel tower is old style compared to the outside of the tower. In the hotel you will find also details connecting to the past. Various artworks represent Thailand’s most famous art. What about a wall made out of tuk-tuk lights? Murals made like tattoo art in shiny mother of pearl colors found also in temples. Every detail fits together making it a very pleasant place to stay.

The hotel has direct access to the sky train in Bangkok taking you anywhere in the city in a short period of time. The hotel offers also the unique Whatever/Whenever service which means you can get anything at any time as long as it’s legal. Just ask and they will get it done!
The rooms at W Hotel Bangkok
Every single room at W Hotel Bangkok has been designed with the international jet-setter in mind. Everything is state of the art and the tablet to control everything is so cool! Adjust your lights, air-conditioning and more with a touch on the tablet. The rooms are enhanced with color through colorful glass walls, lighting and customized furniture making you say WOW for sure. The rooms are large for a standard room with lots of space to relax. I can see from the interior the architect has put a lot of effort in the design to have you relax but if you need more space then go for the 4 room (extreme) WOW suite 🙂 It’s unique!
In the room you will find two muay Thai boxing gloves for some spontaneous selfies. Pretty cool! If you visit Thailand a boxing game is a must-see too. You can also make your own cocktail in the room! How cool is that? Just follow the steps and mix it: Woohito time!
Facilities at W Hotel Bangkok
The W Hotel Bangkok has all the facilities you expect from a luxury hotel. A gym with all the latest equipment a pool shaped in the shape of an eyeball. You will find twinkling underwater lights and even music! The pool bar serves great all day snacks and the best cocktails. The Spa at the W Hotel Bangkok is called AWAY Spa which features everything you might expect from a Spa . Unfortunately I did not have the time to enjoy the Spa myself as I spend too much time at the pool. Will do that next time!

Conclusion
The W Hotel Bangkok is the kind of hotel I like. It’s a great place with a unique blend of old and modern styles. Trendy but also authentic. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and lots of technology. I can recommend this hotel to everyone coming to Bangkok for a city trip or during a Thailand road trip.
